Failure to Communicate
Just now:
2 year old wants “crunchy yogurt.” I have no clue what this is. 2 y.o. flips out. I give her a warning that she needs to calm down or else a time out. She continues to flip out. Time out is issued for two minutes.
After two minutes, I take her out of time out. I explain to her that she needs to just show me in the refrigerator what she wants. She agrees. We go back into the kitchen. Before we even get to the refrigerator, she tells me that she is “all done. excuse me please.” So I wash her hands.
She is currently looking at Christmas books.
